The International Choir Competition & Festival of Kalamata is co-organized by the Municipality of Kalamata and the International Cultural Organization of Choirs Interkultur. This choral event, which is organized every two years, is attended by dozens of choirs from all continents, as well as many Greek ones. The competitive part of the festival offers categories for different levels of difficulty, bands and musical genres, while friendship concerts are held in open area and amphitheatres of the city.
September offers to visitors an excellenet opportunity to experience the traditional techniques of grape harvesting and winemaking in the area of Peloponnese. Participating in the grape harvest in one of Greece's most historic wine-growing regions offers an unprecedented experience that will bring you closer to Greek traditions.
Our guests will have the pleasure to observe the production at various selected wineries in Arcadia and Nemea, with whom Kalamata Mediterrenean Villas collaborate, and taste local varieties such as Moschofilero (White) and Agiorgitiko (Red).
